Diana Nguyen Diana Nguyen is a fourth year student at San Diego State University, but is taking five years to graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree for Computer Engineering. She was born in Redondo Beach, California on September 1, 1986 to a Vietnamese family; ever since then she has lived in Lawndale, CA. She is the youngest of three children. She graduated from North High School in Torrance, CA in 2004. After graduating high school, she then went to SDSU the following fall. After seeing the vast amount of Caucasians at SDSU, she wanted to find other Vietnamese people and feel more at home, hence her voyage through the school to find VSA. Since then Diana has been an active member of VSA. She is now the External Vice President for the 2007-2008 year. She loves the Vietnamese culture and wants to continue being active in it. She is also a part of a Buddhist youth group where she participates in cultural activities like dragon dancing. Other then that, she is currently trying to study her best to become an engineer for any company that will hire her. She enjoys sports and is up for any new activity that she has not tried before. Her favorite sports are basketball and snowboarding, which she learned from her older brother, who is also her role model, along with her older sister and parents. She tries to stay open minded to everything and have a positive output on life. She continues to strive to better herself at everything she does, and one day be able to support her family like her parents supported theirs. Contact email:
